An emotional site isn't louder than the rest — it's more intentional. Every transition, every pause, every reveal is timed to land at exactly the right moment.
The ingredients
- Restraint. One typeface, a tight palette, lots of room.
- Timing. Motion that matches the easing of the real world.
- Surprise. A small, delightful moment the visitor didn't expect.
The method
Build the quiet parts first. Get the typography and spacing right when nothing is moving. Only then add motion — and add it sparingly, like seasoning.
The result is a site people remember without knowing quite why.
